Before
one month or so, i had received a four track promo CD from
Adramelch, which was a teaser for their newest album
after 17 years. "Irae Melanox" released before
17 years and then silence until this month, September 2005
i have in my hands the new album from Adramelch with the title
"Broken History". In this album you will
find thirteen tracks which three of them are instrumental.
We can say for sure that Adramelch can call as a cult
metal band from Italy. If i am not mistaken their debut album
is hard to find it.
Another
note is that "Broken History" is a concept
album and it seems that the band give a lot of their efforts
in order to make it the best that they can. The band did a
very good work in this album and their compositions are well
worked with incredible ideas and great ideas. The guitar players
Gianluca and Fabio, makes remarkable guitar
riffs and very nice solos. The rhythm section gives the main
support and finally Vittorio gives all the feelings
with his wonderful voice. I don't know why the band did so
many years to release this album but i am sure that if Adramelch
released regularly albums the whole progressive / epic metal
scene would mention this name. Adramelch give the epic
metal atmosphere to the whole album and with this concept
but also their song structures have a lot of progressive metal
elements. I know that when the band released their debut album
i was only six years old but for sure with this one Adramelch
will have a lot of new listeners plus the "old"
good ones from the 80ies days.
"Broken History" will be another album that
it will stay in my CD player for a long time of period. For
sure also Adramelch reach one position of my top 10
list for this year. If you believe that you are a fan of true,
epic / progressive metal then you should immediately purchase
this album otherwise you will regret it. Support quality bands
that release quality album and believe me Adramelch
is one of these bands for sure. I feel a lot of honour because
i had the chance to hear this album and i watch out for any
live shows from them in my country or in their homeland, you
know our countries are neighbors. Thank you guys and i hope
we will not wait 17 years again. I won't pick up any tracks
because the whole album rocks.
