Afterlife
comes from United States and last year they released their
debut self financed album with the title "From the
Outside in E minor". From the first notes you recognize
the weak production and the poor sound. I don't know why the
band didn't work more with these sections but even if they
have some really good stuff inside this album the production
gives you a negative reaction for the whole project. Musically
Afterlife walks in the think life of stoner rock but
without so slow moments they have some more fast parts inside
their songs. We can say that they combine the mid tempo moments
with the fast moments of their album. In addition the band
had use dual vocals with male and female ones. I am sure that
the band will find their way because if you pay a lot attention
and try to hear their music you will see that they have some
really interesting ideas inside their songs and their compositions
are well worked. I hope when they will write new stuff to
watch out more the production and the sound of the final stage
of their next step. Don't give up and continue the hard work
and you will have some really good results.
