I
want to be honest with you, when I received the package from
Agorazheim, I didn't have the best picture of them.
I mean, it was a package with a CD-R and a small piece of
paper with the track list.
Definitely
I have seen better promo packages, but the meaning of this
is 'not to judge a book by it's cover'. When I put this CD
in my CD player and I first heard it it was decent, except
the fact that it doesn't have a good sound, but I understand
the music for this promo released back in 2003.
I
found out that the band plays symphonic black metal, with
a lot of melodic lines and black metal male vocals and clean
female vocals. Even if we have a lot of bands that plays this
or similar kind of metal, I heard some moments from Agorazheim
that contained their personal sound.
While
they have some well written compositions and some very interesting
ideas definitely they need some more work. I do believe their
next step will be really good. The fact that the band members
were sixteen or seventeen years old when they recorded this
work surely by the next time around they will have matured
with their music directions. I believe that this band from
Spain has a lot of things to give to the extreme metal scene.
