Altaria
comes from Finland and they formed back in 2000. So far after
six years of existence they have released two albums, they
had in their ranks Jani Limatainen from Sonata
Arctica and Emppu from Nightwish.
Now
in 2006 the band strikes back with their third full length
album. "The Fallen Empir"” is the title
of this work and it has eleven tracks. Through the fifty minutes
duration of the CD the band has given us some fine moments
of melodic metal.
Their
compositions are very well written with impressive ideas and
a very good work in the guitars too. Generally I believe that
the band become a little bit harder than their previous works.
At
least one more time, Altaria offers us a pure, authentic
and above average album and you can see that in each release
they have become more and more mature with their compositions
too.
