First
of all i want to say that we have two bands with the same
name, one band comes from Germany and the other comes from
Finland. So this time we have the chance to hear the new album
from Amplifire that comes from Finland. Their newest
album has the title "Killing the sound" and
released through Uho Productions, also it has ten tracks
and about forty minutes of pure rock music. Of course because
we have entered the new millennium for some years now they
have include a lot of modern elements inside their music and
generally they have some elements from the alternative music.
Most of the songs from Amplifire are easy listening
and catchy. Many refrains stuck in my mind after the first
listening of their album. In addition as a Finnish band that
they are, we have some really well worked compositions and
interesting ideas inside their songs. Definitely lots of their
songs can played easily in the rock radio shows and i am sure
that we can say that Amplifire have some commercial
tracks. Personally i adore most of the songs from Amplifire
and i am sure that this CD will be for some weeks in my CD
player. Well done to the guys for this very good album.
