Arcane
Dimension comes from United States and it is the new project
from Jarek Tatarek from the legendary Polish thrashers
Astharoth. Here we will a different "face"
of Jarek, with Arcane Dimension they give to
us a more melodic way of the gothic metal music.
"In
Ecstasy and Sorrow" is the title of their debut album
and it has eleven songs. Arcane Dimension released
it in a very good digi-pack version and with the very beautiful
music we will travel to some other lands of our history. The
album has almost one hour of pure gothic / atmospheric metal
in the vein of Theater of Tragedy and The
Gathering of course through the personal prism of
Arcane Dimension.
Their
compositions are well worked with some very interesting moments
but with some usual elements for a gothic / atmospheric metal
release. The thing that I liked in the album from Arcane
Dimension was the fact that they tried to be unique to
play this kind of music with their personal point of view
and it some way they have achieved that.
