Very
often i receive packages from Germany, sometimes the bands
are really very good and sometimes just average. I never expected
to receive a progressive rock release but Arilyn are
dedicated to this music genre. They formed before five years
and so far they have only one album and this one which is
their second with the title "Virtual Reality"
and a lyric concept of the question when we live our lives
and when in a virtual reality world. Pretty "space"
content as far as for the lyrics. Arilyn offer a fantastic
journey for more than an hour and you should lay back and
taste all the things that these German guys will provides
to you. They have eleven tracks and each track has it's own
history and their compositions are well worked with interesting
ideas and definitely the progressive atmosphere is all over
there and you can make your own comparisons for this band.
Personally i found them really interesting and they didn't
make me to say that after the listening i get bored. They
have a lot of variety in their music and every track is a
small trip through the Virtual Reality space of them.
Last but not least, the production is really good and you
can hear clearly all the elements from the music of Arilyn.
