Honestly i never expected to hear a band from the United States play like Aspire. Even if i expected a more modern musical approach, Aspire gives us a symphonic power metal music direction with their latest album with the title "Quest Eternal".

In this album the band included eight tracks and almost fifty minutes full of fast drum parts, heavy guitar riffs and really strange vocals. It reminds me of the way that the vocalist from Manilla Road sings.

Definitely the compositions from Aspire are well developed with some really interesting ideas... and actually the songs are based mainly on keyboards and the guitars. Maybe if the guitar solos sounds a little bit better in the final mix then the whole result would be almost excellent but without this again the band had give us a very impressive piece of music.

Last but not least i am sure all the fans of heavy, power symphonic metal will adore the stuff from Aspire and i wish the band will have a good distribution in order for more and more metal fans to know about them.

SCORE out of 8.6/10 Antonis Maglaras
