Sometimes
i feel really lucky, like this time. I have reviewed both
bands' previous works and now i see them on a split CD which
will be release this May through Fuzzorama Records.
The bands included six tracks each and we have the chance
to hear more than one hour of pure rock music in the vein
of the 70s.
So
we will begin with Asteroid, who will open this release.
Asteroid walks in the music, progressive and psychedelic
paths of 70s rock with some really impressive and well developed
compositions with very interesting ideas inside them and last
but not least you can feel a "fresh" air in the
stuff from them.
Now
to the second side, like the LP, really this release will
be on an LP format? Anyway, back to the Blowback side,
here we will have the chance to hear more the stoner rock
side of the 70s music decade. Again Blowback wrote
some really impressive and well created compositions with
anything that a stoner rock fan wants to hear.
Last
but not least, i believe this is one of the best splits i
have heard in the past several months. I believe both bands
deserve to be in this split and both bands have given more
than 100% in their music and we have a quality release for
all the fans of 70s rock music.
