When
i receive a parcel from Victory Records
it is always nice trip to unknown sometimes music paths. Usually
Victory Records are specialized for metalcore
releases but also some releases are a little bit different
like The Audition. "Controversy Loves Company"
is their debut album which released through Victory
Records before one week if i am not mistaken. Musically
the band offers to me a great journey to the pop / punk /
rock combination of their music. I must say that at the first
time i didn't understand their meanings through their songs
and i was afraid that i wouldn't like their stuff, but if
you pay attention to the stuff that The Audition offers
to you, you will find some really good stuff, even if it is
their debut album the band did their best in order to give
the top of their music quality. Of course it is a question
in my mind, if i will hear this stuff again because i am not
used to hear such music kinds and maybe it isn't my cup of
tea. I will be honest with you, i like the time that i spend
with this album in order to write these few lines for you
but i am not sure if i will hear the album from The Audition
again in the future, but also who knows about the future?
