Augury
comes from Canada and two years ago they released their debut
album through Galy Records with the title "Concealed".
In our hands we have this album but actually the European
edition which was released through Adipocere Records.
In
this album the band included ten tracks and almost fifty minutes
of pure death metal but without the typical way of the death
metal. So the band had make some very interesting arrangements
with their well conceived compositions, they have dual extreme
male and clean female vocals.
Their
songs have a lot of progressive elements in them and you can
hear some very impressive ideas. Maybe if the production would
be better then we will have a more exceptional result but
i am sure Augury will have a very good next step, more
mature and with more ideas.
Definitely,
we can say that the band included their personal sound in
their music and this is almost the best thing, to have a personal
sound with the additions of their influences. I hope soon
they will record their newest work.
