A
few weeks ago I received "Seguimos Avanzando", the
latest album from Barbarian, another band from
Dark Rails Records.
This
band has songs with English and in their mother language too.
Also they have a cover of a Black Sabbath track
("Symptom of the Universe"). Twelve songs
total are included in this album and almost fifty five minutes
of pure heavy metal music with some touches from thrash metal
too.
As
I can imagine Dark Rails Records are a dedicated label
to this kind of sound and so far both releases have some interesting
things but I don’t know these days that we have a completely
different direction if this is a good move.
Anyway,
Barbarian, have some good moments and some average
too. Definitely the most interesting moments is to hear the
songs with the lyrics in their mother tongue. I am sure the
fans of 80s decade will adore this release.
