I remember I first got in contact with Bejelit back in 2000. Back then, they had released their latest demo CD. After that, they released another mini CD, their debut album, and now their sophomore one with the title "Age of Wars" which was released a few days ago through Old Ones Records.

The band included ten tracks in this album and more than forty five minutes of pure classic heavy metal. Bejelit had written my favorite track so far which is "Bones and Evil". I had heard it in their demo and from then I realized that it would be their hit. I don't know if actually this is their hit, but it is a hit in my heart. I really adore this track even if it is with their previous singer. In their newest album the band changed their singer and now Tiberio is the replacement.

To be honest with you I haven't gotten used to hearing the voice of Tiberio yet. I have only listened three times the new album from Bejelit, but from the things I've heard I've realized that Tiberio's voice is really powerful and has improved the songs a little bit. And finally, he gives more than 100% of his abilities to the songs.

The compositions of Bejelit are well written and they have some very impressive ideas but in the same time some typical elements too. Don't forget that here we have a heavy metal album and let's say that we expect to hear some typical elements too.

Definitely we want to hear the personal sound of the band and Bejelit added their personal sound inside their stuff. Last but not least the band had made a step forward and they released this album through their own label. I hope everything goes well with this project.

SCORE out of 8.7/10 Antonis Maglaras
