It
is always a great pleasure to receive works from the land
of the rising sun. This time is the turn for Black Masquerade
a metal band from Japan. I don't know if you follow the underground
scene from this country but i can assure you that they have
some really good bands like Guiltys Law and
Gorgon to name few. Before four - five months
Black Masquerade released their debut album with the
title "Spread your wings" and i am sure that
these guys are ready to spread their wings in the mainstream
heavy metal scene. Yoshihiro Nitta is the main composer
and if i am not mistaken he has write all the songs from this
album. But i am sure that he is a very talent guitar player
and his ideas are really interesting. Also the singer Takashi
Sakaguchi drives the whole project to the heaven with
his very beautifull voice. Their compositions are well worked
and as i said above with very interesting ideas and believe
me if Black Masquerade were from Sweden now the whole
Europe will talk for them. Also i am sure that if a band is
really good and work hard then in the future they will have
the results that they want. If you find their album somewhere
don't make the mistake and not buy it, you will loose a very
good piece of melodic power metal stuff.
