Coming
straight from Sweden, Blastrock sent us their latest
self financed EP. In this EP the band included five tracks
and almost twenty minutes of pure metal music. "Hole
in your Head" is the title of this release and despite
the fact that it is a little bit extreme, the music direction
has a very clever combination which made Blastrock
a really interesting band.
So
from the opening track the band had a little bit aggressive
style but also with a rock 'n roll attitude and some touches
from punk music too. Imagine if Motorhead would
be a little bit more extreme then, i am sure they would have
a sound like Blastrock.
Their
compositions are well developed with some very interesting
ideas. Even if their music doesn't have a lot of modern elements
they have tried to make their songs sound like the freshest
thing in the world. Generally the band seems to love what
they do and they have passed this feeling in their compositions
and finally we can feel it while we listen to their songs.
