It's
time to rock and wonder, "What do you think when you
masturbate your brain"? Blend 71 is a new band
that has only been around two years but here we have their
debut self financed mini CD.
In this work, the band included five tracks and almost twenty
minutes of a modern approach of melodic rock music with some
alternative touches. Another fact about Blend 71 is
that their mini CD was produced by Tom Hutten (of Foo
Figthers / Iggy Pop).
Now back to music now, definitely the band has a lot of melodies
inside their music but also sometimes they are a little bit
more heavier. Their compositions are well written with very
impressive ideas and of course they have a charismatic female
singer Ciny who did an excellent job.
Some other information of interest, at least for me, is that
the band are now in the studio preparing their debut album
which will be released if everything goes well in April 2007
and their music will be a little bit heavier.
So prepare your axes emmmm sorry your ears for a rock tornado
with the name Blend 71.
