Last
year i had review the debut demo release from Caer Ibormeith
and i was really impressed by their music. Now after a year
the band from France released their second demo CD with the
title 'Orftum' and they include three songs. Because
of bands like Caer Ibormeith i continue to search in
the huge land of underground metal music. I really don't know
why these very talent musicians don't have a record deal yet.
Musically the bands walks in the progressive death metal paths
but they have made a great combination with influences from
progressive rock music from 70's. Believe me you won't understand
how the band walks in this thin line of extreme and melodic
music to the progressive one. But this is the reason why so
far they have made their own personal sound and i am sure
that soon or later they will find their way to the discography.
Maybe some of you won't like this combination but Caer
Ibormeith has made it almost perfectly and you didn't
recognize it when you hear their songs. Once again these guys
didn't dissapoint me with their very beautiful music, full
of pictures and emotions, sometimes aggressive and sometimes
more melodic. I wish their next step will be their debut official
album but the future will tell to us.
