Candela
formed back in 2001 and so far they have two demos. Their
newest work is titled "Diversity". The band
has included four tracks and from the first to the second
demo, they have changed their singer. I hadn't the chance
to hear their debut demo with their previous singer, so i
don't know how it would sound. But in their newest work, the
band gives to us four tracks of pure melodic metal, with a
very good atmosphere and the addition of keyboards. Musically
the band is really well developed and they have some really
interesting things. Imagine influences from Iron Maiden,
Pretty Maids and Axxis with the
personal sound of Candela and here you are. The weak
point in this release is the position of the singer; i am
not saying that he isn't good. But in my ears i think he didn't
feel the lyrics when he sung. Despite this, i recommend you
to check this release, because musically Candela is
a very good band, the thing is to be more professional and
of course in their next step to be more mature.
