Caustic
is a band that comes from Spain and last year they released
their latest album through Hecatomb Records. The band
had chosen "The Horror Cult" as the title
of this work and they included nine tracks.
If
you look closer to the track list you will see that they decided
to have some songs with English lyrics and some songs with
lyrics in their mother language. Through the thirty six minutes
which is the duration of this album Caustic gave us their
personal view of the brutal death metal.
From
the opening track we have the fastest drum parts, which sometimes
approach the drum levels that we find in black metal releases.
Aggressive, raw and guttural vocals which you don't understand
or you need a lot of attention for the lyrics and some good
enough guitar themes.
Again
I will say that this kind of death metal is too extreme for
me but if you are fan of brutal death metal you can check
this band.
