Chain
Reaction formed in Athens two years ago. In 2004 they
recorded their debut demo CD with entitled "Ruins"
and early this year they released it. "Ruins"
has four songs and almost twenty minutes of pure metal music.
The demo begins with the track "Nemesis"
and after that we have the black metal holocaust. Of course
the band didn't plays the underground black metal but they
have a very good, for a demo, production. So with a lot of
melodies but also with some aggressive parts Chain Reaction
give us a very good piece of music, especially for the Greek
black metal fans, if you like the stuff from Nightfall
and Rotting Christ then you will adore the music
from Chain Reaction. The band had worked hard and their
compositions are well worked with interesting ideas but i
believe they should put more their personal sound and we will
have a better result. But for their first step it is really
good.
