few days ago a new label from Germany, Pure Steel Records,
released the second full length album from Chimaera.
From the cover of this release I am sure you will guess what
you will hear if you put this album in your CD player.
From
the first note, Chimaera gives us a specific idea that
we will hear some fine moments of heavy metal with some touches
from epic metal too. The band included eleven tracks and more
than fifty minutes of metal music inside this album.
Their
compositions are well written, with some very interesting
ideas and of course their music is based on guitars. Believe
me Umit and Jacques did a great job in this
section.
I
believe most of the fans of classic heavy metal will adore
the stuff from Chimaera. Don't forget that last year
they were on tour with Rebellion. So far Pure
Steel Records has given us some very impressive releases
and I hope they will continue this.
