Chimaera
comes from Belgium and last year they released their latest
album through Genet Records with the title "Stygian".
In this album the band included eleven tracks and almost fifty
minutes of pure modern metal music.
These
guys from the opening track give us what we want to hear,
a furious and aggressive mixture of metalcore, with extreme
vocals but in the same time with few melodies in the music.
"Nothing" is the title of the opening track
from "Stygian" and believe me you haven't
anything to lose if you choose to hear this album.
The
compositions from Chimaera are well developed with
some very interesting ideas and the band gives everything
that you want to hear from a metalcore band. The band combined
the fast and raw parts of their music, with some melodies
and some chaotic vocal parts.
Generally
Chimaera had written a very good album, which have
all the elements from a modern release and you should keep
an eye out for their record.
