Code
of Silence hails from Greece. They're a new band and recently
they released their latest work. "Break the Silence"
is the title of this demo CD and the band included four tracks
and almost twenty minutes of pure death metal.
Even
if the band walks basically in the death metal paths, they
don't stay in this style but they expand their horizons with
some other influences from thrash metal and a more modern
approach.
From
the opening track the band gives us a very powerful picture
of their abilities and their compositions are good enough
with some interesting ideas. The sound of this recording isn't
the best but at least with a little effort you can hear all
the things that they included here.
Last
but not least, I believe Code of Silence is a promising
band. They could find success If they will continue to work
hard and try to find their personal direction through the
music. I hope their next step will be better than this one
and shows more progress.
