Last
year Crimson Scythe, released their debut demo CD which
consist of four tracks and almost fifteen minutes of pure
death / trash metal music. The band comes from Canada but
have a lot of influences from the European death metal scene
too.
With
these four tracks Crimson Scythe give us a small picture
of their music direction and definitely they have a lot of
influences from Children of Bodom but besides
this, they have well worked compositions which also based
on keyboards and with interesting guitar riffs.
Definitely
their production and sound is poor but i think if the band
will work more on these two sections in their next release
they will have some better results. A promising start for
a new band, we should wait to hear their next step.
