Damien
Thorne formed in 1983 when i was only one years old. After
two succesful albums "The Sign of the Jackal "(1986)
and "Wrath of Darkness" one year later the
band achieve to do a tour with Nuclear Assault
and Fastway. After some problems with their
label and the rising of the alternative sound, Damien Thorne
get back to the underground scene untill last year, where
they re-grouped and released their third album with the title
"Haunted Mind" early this year. Also the
fans that appeared in this year Headbangers Open Air, had
the opportunity to see them live. But back to the music, Damien
Thorne is a definitely heavy metal assault with ten traditional
heavy metal tracks. For sure the fans of traditional heavy
metal will adore the stuff from Damien Thorne and also
the older metal heads will find a lot of things in this album
that they will remind to them the old days. I hope in their
next release the band will have more money in order to make
a better production and sound so we will have the opportunity
to hear clearly their stuff.
