Damnation is a new born band
and "Theater Control Law" is their
latest demo Cd, which includes four songs. Musically the band
wants to be from United States, because they have a lot of
influences from the modern death metal of this scene. Sepultura,
Mastodon, Pantera are few of their
influences and as you can imagine the vocals are harsh and
aggressive. The music is enough good too and the compositions
are well worked. But as good as you can be with your music
if you don't have your personal sound and if you don't make
some experiments then you will not go further from your country.
Besides all these you must work hard and to have patience
for everything and not to be anxious for some things. Definitely
the opening track which is the title track too is the best
in this release and the "Eternal Suffering".
But as the most Greek bands, Damnation has the problem
in the production and in the sound of this demo. But i think
that the band has the abilities make something really good
if they want. I mean they have the knowledge.ge and
they need the equipment. Check them.
