Daydreamer formed before two years and in 2004 they released their debut mini CD with the title "DayDreamer". The band comes from Switzerland and musically they moved on melodic rock / metal with some modern and progressive metal elements. This mini CD it begins with "Please don't send me away" with a very nice guitar intro, which reminds you a lot modern sound of metal music. The vocals are definitely for the kind that they want to follow and i think they have found the perfect singer. The songs from Daydreamer are catchy, you can remember then easily and you can sing the refrain after the first listening. As i told you before the band walks in the melodic paths of rock and metal with some progressive touches and their compositions are well worked with interesting ideas and i am sure that their debut album will be a blast if they will have make progress after this release. Maybe the band should use more the keyboards in order to give another atmosphere in the whole result of their project and i am sure that "Brighter Days" should be the opening track for this release. Great chorus, really nice guitar riffs and a fresh song. I hope the band will release their debut album soon, actually they work for it from last April and we will hear the result.

SCORE out of 7.5/10 Antonis Maglaras
