I
never used to receive so many extreme releases from Italy
so when i got the new demo CD from Deathwork, i was
really curious to hear it. From the first song to the last
one, the band pays a tribute to the Gods of 80's thrash metal
but they didn't stop in this spot, they have included some
other elements from death metal and they have made one step
forward with their compositions which are well worked with
interesting ideas.
Definitely
their main influence is the thrash metal and you can easily
understand it. From the drum parts to the guitar work everything
is thrash metal here. For sure sometimes we want to hear something
new, but also sometimes we have a dream to hear something
old school. Deathwork had some very good songs and
for sure many of the thrash metal fans will adore their newest
work.
Just
follow your heart and hear the stuff from Deathwork
and you won't be disappointed. Of course they could have written
some better stuff but with a little bit more hard working
they will have some really good results. I will wait for their
next step.
