Feanor
comes from Argentina, i had a contact with their bass player
before two years when they had begun to write this album and
finally after two year the band achieve to release it through
the Greek label Secret Port Records. In this
album you will find twelve tracks of pure heavy / epic metal
in the vein of some great bands especially those who come
from the 80's. The thing that i liked from the first time
was the lyrics, because the band didn't write them in English
but all in their mother tongue. The thing that i didn't like
was that i think it would be good if the label had the translation
in the booklet for all of us who does speak this language.
But never mind maybe in their next step the band and the label
will correct some mistakes from this first release. Now back
to the music Feanor had done some really good work
and their compositions are well worked with interesting ideas
and if the production help them a little then we would have
an almost masterpiece. Feanor are dedicated to this
kind of metal and they did their best to play and write music
from their hearts in order to be original their music. Last
but not least i believe that Feanor did their best
from their side and with the help from their label, they can
be well known for their music, they just need to continue
the hard work and to be true. Also one last thing, the band
include a video clip in the CD but because the label send
us a burned CD-R they forget to include this video clip, we
haven't the chance to see it.
