I
had the chance to hear the previous work from The Gates
of Slumber and I must say that I was impressed with their
music. Now is the time for them to strike back with a new
label and a new album.
"Suffer
No Guilt" is the title of the album and it has ten
tracks. The whole album has more than seventy minutes of pure
doom metal and I must admit that besides the music I loved
the front cover.
Of
course the first impression is from the cover and the band
has done a great job there. Also the most important part is
the music and again The Gates of Slumber, have worked
really hard to gave us some of their finest moments like the
title track, "Riders of Doom" and the almost
epic track "God Wills It".
Their
compositions are terrific with their personal touch and some
of their influences too. Definitely this album will be one
of the best in the doom metal releases.
