This live album released firstly back in 1982, before twenty three years. Imagine that in 1982 was the year of my birth. What more to say if you see in the line up names like Ian Gillan and Janick Gers? Anyway, "Mutually Assured Destruction" released first time ever on CD this August and you can read informative sleeve notes by Jerry Bloom editor "More Black than Purple". If you see the tracklist you will see two Deep Purple tracks: "Black Night" and "Smoke on the Water". So what more to say, just hard rock in the best form from Gillan. All the fans of quality hard rock will purchase this album immediately; don't forget that it is first time ever on a CD format. The sound is almost excellent for a live recording back in 1982. Don't read more my words just go and buy your copy. In releases like this, i think we mustn't write any reviews because these are diamonds and diamonds are foverer.
