Golem
isn't a new band from Italy. Actually they formed back in
2000 and after some demo releases it was the time for their
debut self financed album. "Black Era" is
the title of their newest work and they included eleven songs.
The
band needed only forty two minutes in order to show us their
vision of their album. From the opening track 'Ever Been
to Hell' the band gives us a straight picture of what
we will hear in the next ten tracks. An album full of melodic
death metal tunes; a lot of energy, some aggressive moments
but also some melodic passages too.
The
band seems to have rehearsed their stuff a lot because here
we can hear some well written compositions with some very
interesting ideas. Definitely the band seems to know how they
want to sound and finally they have found their path.
Don't
forget that they have shared the stage with well known bands
like: White Skull, Heimdall, Centurion
and a mini tour with the English act Panic Cell.
