From Red Stream records we receive
the latest release from Gorelord with the title "Norwegian
Chainsaw Massacre". In this album the band included
eleven songs and more than forty minutes of pure brutal death
metal that reaches the grindcore.
I have always been really curious why
bands have songs with only few seconds or one minute track;
Gorelord walks in the thin line of brutal death metal
and grindcore. For example the first songs are more in the
grindcore side instead of the four latest songs that of course
have some grindcore elements but mostly are in the brutal
death metal side.
Anyway, for sure Gorelord is
an extreme band and with their latest release, many fans of
extreme death metal will adore listening to it. But for me,
I believe it's too extreme for my ears.
