Ground
Zero System is a new band from the Norwegian metal scene.
They formed back in 2004 from the ashes of two local groups
Apostasy and Descension. Soon
the band composed new songs and after two years we have their
latest work.
This
self financed EP recorded in the well known dUB studio
(Trail of Tears, Green Carnation,
Blood Red Throne) with producer Endre Kirkesola.
The band put four tracks in this CD and almost twenty minutes
of pure industrial metal.
From
the opening track the band give us a clear picture of the
quality of their music and what we will hear in the next songs.
Actually the band had an enormous energy which they had transferred
to this work.
They
combine extreme and clean vocals, while they have done some
really impressive work on the guitars. Also their compositions
are excellent with interesting ideas.
I
can say that I am not a huge fan of industrial metal but Ground
Zero System made me to love their music. I mean they have
put a lot of things inside their songs and they have worked
a lot on their tracks too. Last but not least, I really adore
this EP.
