I
have followed Incendium for the past three years now.
I have already heard two demos from them back in 2003 and
last year, so now it was the time for their next step. These
Finnish guys released a few days back their latest album titled
"Crawling Quietly" and they have included
five tracks.
In
this release the band decided to combine their melancholic
and melodic side of Incendium with their more extreme
side but everything in a stable balance. So mainly we have
the more melancholic side in their sound, then when they believe
that they need to be more extreme then they use more heavy
riffs and more extreme vocals too.
Their
compositions are well written with some very impressive ideas
and it seems that the band is very tight and they know very
well what they want from their music and they have transferred
it nicely in their songs.
I
really don't know why the band doesn't have a record deal
so far but at least Incendium is a very active band.
Maybe not so unique, but they know what they want from themselves
and I think they are ready for the big step to the discography.
