Izegrim
comes from Holland and "New World Order"
is their sixth release so far, don't forget that the band
exist from 1996. They walk in modern metal paths, with elements
from death and thrash metal with a crossover atmosphere. The
thing that impressed me was the female singer. Kristien
reminds me a little from the singer of Arch Enemy
but without so much distortion and so extreme. Also the band
now prepares their next full length album with the title "Tribute
to Totalitarianism", you can expected it early next
year. Anyway, back to "New World Order" in
these four songs the band seems to have work hard and their
compositions are well worked with interesting ideas and i
think that they have achieve to put their personal sound and
finally to have their personal way of death / thrash metal.
Also so far they had share the stage with bands like Tankard,
Holy Moses and Gorerotted. I wish one
day i will have the opportunity to see them live, to see their
aggressive sound on the stage and to see if they can transfer
the whole atmosphere on the stage, which i am sure they can
easily do it. For sure the fans of modern thrash / death metal
will adore the stuff from Izegrim. Don't loose more
time, go and contact with them in order to purchase their
releases.
