A
few days ago i received the newest album from Jacknife,
a band that comes from the United States. Their newest album
was released through ZeroSum Records and it
has the title "Moment of Reckoning". Through
the twelve songs and the thirty five minutes of duration the
band gives us their personal view of their metal core music.
I
am sure that now you have in your mind how the band sounds,
at least a little bit. Imagine a combination of elements from
Anthrax, Hatebreed and the classic
heavy metal act Iron Maiden, with a lot of hardcore
elements and finally the personal touch from Jacknife
and you will have and idea about how the band walks in the
music path of metal core.
Definitely
we all know that this kind of music is popular in the US and
i believe that there are some bands that really play this
kind of music very well, but i believe they should move a
step forward to make a little progress in order to not sound
the same as a lot of the other bands out there.
