For
sure most of the bands from France are in the extreme metal
side. So recently i receive the first demo from a new band
with the name La Rumeur des Chaines. For first time
i don't think that i knew this band but when i take a look
closer to the line up i saw the name Alexandre Manuse.
Alexandre is a member of my beloved band Caer
Ibormeith. Anyway now i talk about La Rumeur des
Chains. The band walks of course in the extreme side of
metal and they deliver to our ears the black metal kind but
because they are open mind musicians they have made some interesting
additions from other kinds of music. Imagine the atmosphere
of jazz music, with heavy and dark riffs of black metal combined
with the cold atmosphere and imagine that this is a project
of some musicians. Imagine if this was their regular band,
i believe that they have done an almost excellent work and
through this three songs and the thirty minutes of pure music,
the band offer us a travel through their interesting music
world. Keep an eye on this release.
