Here in Greece we have a new born label, Burning Star Records. It is the new blood here in Greece and from their beginning they have chosen their releases really carefully. With every new release they have surprised us with the bands that they have discovered.

From the very good Greek gothic metal band In Heaven to the impressive Folk metal Heol Telwen and from the doom kings of Holland, Whisperring Gallery to the my surprise for this year Her Enchantment. Now it is the time for Lunarsea, a band that comes from Italy and "Hydrodynamic Wave" is their debut album which was released through Burning Star Records.

The band included eleven tracks in their newest work and we will have the chance to hear more than forty five minutes of a combination technical and melodic death metal with dual extreme and clean vocals. Their compositions are well developed with some really interesting ideas and as a bonus the band have included a video clip of the opening track "Beside the Driver".

I am sure all the fans of Children of Bodom, In Flames and Arch Enemy will adore the stuff from Lunarsea and will find a lot of impressive moments in this album. Last but not least, Burning Star Records offer us one more time an album which is definitely above average and keeps us interested.

SCORE out of 8.3/10 Antonis Maglaras
