Methodust
comes from United States and they formed back in 2000. "The
Numbing Victory" is their debut demo CD, which they
include four songs. Musically the band has three main influences:
death, doom and thrash metal. If you combine these influences
with an old school sound and a raw production then you will
have the music from Methodust. For example, the vocals
are mainly death metal but you can't hear them clearly. The
band begins this demo with the "The numbling victory"
song and in five minutes, you can hear these three main
influences. Their compositions are enough good, of course
they could be better but i think they can make them more complicated
and if they put more their personal sound we will have a unique
result. For sure the band gives you the picture that they
will have future if they will continue to work hard and i
think in their next step we will have better results, but
for a debut demo is for sure above average. I will wait to
see their next step to find out if they will have make progress.
