Three
or four years ago i had reviewed the debut album from Mirrorthrone,
a band that comes from Switzerland, which is actually an one
man band and Vladimir is the person behind the Mirrorthrone
project. In his new album Vladimir had include four
tracks and more than forty five minutes of pure black metal
assault.
The
new album has the title "Carriers of Dust"
and released before some days through Red Stream. As
you can see Vladimir want to have quite long compositions,
the last track is more than twenty minutes. When you start
to hear this album you will see that it is full of emotions
but at the same time the compositions that Vladimir
had written are really well developed with some interesting
ideas too.
Maybe
if he had used a real drummer the songs would sound a little
bit different but this is just a small addition. I believe
that the stuff from Mirrorthrone take your mind and
your soul to a dark journey through the personal visions of
Vladimir.
Last
but not least i want to say that the stuff from Mirrorthrone
isn't the easiest album to listen to and you should be "clean"
in order to feel and to understand it. Definitely you will
need more than one or two times to listen to it to understand
it.
