Mortal
Intention isn't a new band, even if this is the first
album that I had the chance to hear from these guys. The band
first released their debut demo back in 1997 and one year
later they released their second demo.
In
2000 the band released their debut self financed album and
two years later their second one through Christhunt Production.
After four years Mortal Intention strikes back with
their third album "Latent Letal".
In
this album the band includes nine tracks and more than forty
minutes of furious, aggressive and raw black / death metal.
When you read the names of the tracks you will understand
that Mortal Intention had chosen to have lyrics in
their mother tongue, which personal I like it even if I don't
understand a single word.
From
the opening track, which is a fast black metal track, the
band seems to have worked really hard for this step. Their
compositions and the music arrangements are really good while
they had included some very impressive ideas.
Because
I have't had the chance to hear their previous work I can't
say how they sound in their previous works and if they had
made a progress or they change a little their songs but for
a band that it is almost ten year in the metal scene definitely
they should had made some progress. Don't forget that four
years passed since their previous work.
