A
few months ago i reviewed the first live album from Nemo.
A progressive band that comes from France and they have lyrics
in their mother language. "Si Partie I" is
their fifth studio album so far which they released a few
days back.
The
band included five tracks in this release and almost an hour
of pure progressive rock music. Don't forget that two of the
songs have duration more than fifteen and twenty minutes.
Generally, Nemo like to have songs with long duration,
but also this gives us the impression that they have the ability
to wrong such good without being bored with the tracks.
Their
compositions are more than well worked with some very impressive
ideas inside their music and with the French lyrics the atmosphere
is magical and mysterious for the people that don't know the
language.
Maybe
the band should have an English translation in the booklet
but, this is my personal opinion. Because of course i am with
the bands that don't use English lyrics and use their mother
language and but i think we should know what they say with
their lyrics.
Last
but not least, i was wondering why some labels that are dedicated
to the progressive music haven't discovered this band. I believe
that Nemo, is one of the top progressive rock bands
and i am sure they deserve the help from a label.
Don't
read any more of this review, just go and find your copy of
the new album from Nemo and you won't regret it! Neither
your money nor your time will go to waste. Give the music
a good listen in order to fully "understand" the
things that the band want to pass through their latest release.
