Pride comes from Austria and "Der Quell des Lebens"
is their second full length work which they released by themselves
two years ago. In this album the band included an hour of
pure gothic / death metal through their eight songs that they
have written.
Musically
the band included everything that should be in a gothic metal
release. This thing had two sides, the first one is the matter
that every band that plays this kind of music puts the same
elements inside their music, the second one is the fact that
even if the band had include all the typical elements, they
have also included their personal touch too.
Their
personal touch, which is for example the use of their mother
language with the lyrics and the combination of the clean
and the death metal elements in the vocals and the mid tempo
moments inside their stuff.
Also
the band had a very good atmosphere full of sorrow and sadness.
I am sure they will make some really impressive progress with
their newest album, when it's ready. I hope it will be ready
soon.
