I knew about this tribute for some
months now and i was just waiting for the official release
date and finally a few days ago Solemnity Music released
the tribute to the mighty Cirith Ungol with
the title "One Foot in Fire". In this release
we will find eleven tracks and almost fifty minutes of pure
Cirith Ungol music plays by bands from: Italy, Germany,
Poland, Holland and United Kingdom.
The label wanted to include bands that
were inspired by the music of Cirith Ungol and
not just bands that only played a track from them. So here
you will find bands playing the songs with more than 100%
of their hearts and they have included also a few touches
from their personal sound.
Definitely each track is unique but
i can say that i was impressed from the way that Battle
Ram, Dawn of Winter and Rosae Crucis had
played the songs that they choose to play. I am sure all the
fans of this great band should go now and buy their copy.
Last but not least, this tribute is one of the best that i
have heard in the past months. Definitely this is the TRIBUTE
album to Cirith Ungol. Hail to the mighty ones.
