On
Set Cold comes from United Kingdom and this is their latest
demo CD which includes four tracks. First of all the band
didn't care about the whole package, i believe their cover
is the worst i have ever seen. I mean the worst not the original
copy, the cover that you see in this review but the cover
that i received. I think their personal printer hadn't all
the colors in order to print it well or at least average.
Now in their music section, On Set Cold walks in thrash /
death metal music paths in the vein of Strapping Young
Lad with some additions of keyboards, which i found
them really interesting thing in the whole result from this
demo. For sure the band has a lot of modern metal elements
and generally a modern air in their music, but they must work
a lot in the production and the sound for their next step,
because they need a lot of improvement there. For sure they
have interesting ideas but they must work harder if they want
to do the breakthrough from the underground scene to the mainstream
one. At least i think they have the abilities to do something
good in the near future, now it's up to them if they will
do it or not.
