Order of Nine comes from United States and they exist from 1997. The band early this year they released their new album, which is their second one, with the title "Season of Reign" and it has eleven songs. The band in these eleven tracks gives us the whole project that they have in their mind. Musically the band has a lot of influences from Queensryche, when they released great albums and not now. Also Michael DeGrena, sometimes has some similarities with Geoff Tate. But of course Order of Nine isn't a copy of Queensryche. Of course they have a lot of influences but also they have put a lot of their personal sound so we have the final result that you can hear it in their newest album. Power / Progressive Metal with interesting ideas inside their well worked compositions and a very nice combination of their influences with their personal sound. As a quality progressive band, Order of Nine, have great guitar work, with interesting guitar riffs thanks to Michael Chiccitt. By the way now i noticed that Order of Nine has three Michaels, interesting thing. I hope in their next release Order of Nine will have a better sound, because sometimes the sound from this album isn't so good as their compositions.

SCORE out of 8.3/10 Antonis Maglaras
