It
is always a pleasure to receive releases from the underground
scene of Germany. This country has some really great bands
in the music scene and most of them have something to add
to the metal scene generally. Don't forget that many of the
biggest metal festivals take place every year in this country.
Osyris,
released their latest album, two years ago and they have included
eight songs and more than thirty five minutes of pure Teutonic
power metal. They have include all the elements from power
metal and of course they have made progress with their music
including their personal sound inside them.
Their
compositions are well developed with some very interesting
ideas and their song structure is remarkable. I can say that
i adore the stuff from Osyris and songs like "Manifest
Destiny", "Only a Moment" and the
very good ballad "Endlessly" are the few
highlights from this release. Well done guys.
