Requiem
Laus is a Portuguese band that has more than a decade
in the underground metal scene. So far they have released
two demo tapes back in the 90's and a mini CD. They have had
a lot of line up changes and now we have the latest effort
from them.
The
band has just released "Promo 2006" and they
included five tracks plus two video clips too. Musically the
band walks in the extreme side of metal and actually they
have combined their two main influences, death and black metal
with their personal sound.
The
thing that I adore in this demo was the fact that the band
made their sound as raw and extreme as it should be so that
we have the chance to hear all the things that they have included
in their well written compositions.
I
believe too, that both death metal and black metal fans will
adore the stuff from Requiem Laus because the band
has found the balance between their two main influences and
of course you will find, actually hear, their personal sound
too.
