Scarecrown
is an Italian band and a few days back they sent us their
latest demo CD with the title "Til the last breath".
In this release the band included five tracks and almost twenty
minutes of a combination gothic and modern metal.
When
i first heard their stuff, i had a "weird' feeling about
their music but then after a while I was able toi "understand"
and feel their vision. It is clear that the band worked really
hard in order to make these compositions. Scarecrown
used a combination of gothic metal elements with modern metal
elements. Imagine if the current gothic metal bands had influences
from Slipknot and other modern metal bands,
how would they sound?
Definitely
they will sound like Scarecrown. Of course don't think
that you will hear death metal elements here, but definitely
the band used some really heavy guitar riffs. Last but not
least, Scarecrown have some really impressive ideas
and i believe if they continue to work hard they will have
some very good results in the near future.
